This antique street clock dating from 1900 was restored by the artist as a centerpiece for a three-piece triangular bench configuration. The benches were designed to reflect the Art Deco craftsman period. Local history from the City of Arroyo Grande community was incorporated into the bench designs by using cattle brands dating from the Mexican Land Grant period of the 1850s. These brands represent the ranchero pioneer families of Francis Z. Branch, Captain William G. Dana, Isaac Sparks and John M. Price. Mount Picacho is illustrated with oak tree leaves and grape vines on the third bench.
