Acknowledging our communitys heritage is an important aspect of Jim Jacobsons Art. This sculpture at the San Luis Obispo Promenade, is located near the Japan Town site of the turn of the 20th Century. The Japanese community pioneered early vegetable farming techniques and continue to play a major role in the agriculture industry today. An awareness of our cultural heritage provides a better understanding of our community. |
